Welcome from our new National Committee

A big welcome to you from the newly formed WWFF International Executive Committee (IEC). 

 

The aims and objectives of the IEC, in this exciting period for Wales WF, is to build on the solid foundations both Hedley Austin and Martin Ransom have put in place over several years to place WF firmly on the map, not only in Wales and the UK but throughout Europe too. 

The IEC want to make it as easy as possible for all the Welsh coaches to do what they do best in selecting and coaching the players and giving them the best preparation possible to compete with other International nations. The IEC will support them to achieve their goals. 

Communication will be key to what we do and we are in the process of setting up official twitter/Facebook and Instagram accounts to be able to get information out to you quickly and effectively, also a Web site will be set up in time. 

 

All players and coaches will be set up on Spond for all training and match related information. 

 

WWFF are close to being affiliated to the FAW and meetings will be set up once Wales return from the WC. 

 

We are working on training sessions for all age groups and will discuss with the coaches when they would like to train to be able to book suitable venues and also liaise with the WWFF League committee to make sure there are no clashes with League fixtures. 

 

Another of the IEC objectives is to get all age groups together for a presentation evening, which will take some planning, so we're likely to go with certain age groups for now, similar to the excellent evening the ladies arranged recently.
