New Head of Coaching & Head of Womens appointed 
ANNOUNCEMENT | Coaching Appointments 
 
⚽️ Head of Coaching: 
We are delighted to announce Nathan Thomas as our National head of coaching. Nathan has considerable experience of walking football. He has previously managed over 50s national team and has founded Caldicot Walking Football Club who are current Welsh champions at over 50s and 60s level. Caldicot has grown to 80 members under his leadership and successfully developed two new women’s teams. He is a qualified lecturer and a UEFA B licence holder. Nathan said “I’m delighted to have been appointed to this exciting new role. I look forward to working with the committee, coaches, the FAW and players to drive Wales Walking Football forwards” 
 
⚽️ Head of Women’s: 
We are equally delighted to welcome Josh Edwards as a senior member of our coaching team. He will be the senior coach and also head up women’s football in Wales. Josh brings a wealth of walking football experience, being involved in the game for the last 5 years. He has just finished his BSc course in Football Coaching & Performance and hopes to progress onto the UEFA A licence as part of his MSc Advanced football coaching degree starting in September. Josh has held a number of positions with us prior to this well earned promotion. Josh said “It’s an exciting time for Wales Walking Football, having been involved for 3 years, the development that has been made over that time is significant. I’m looking forward to continuing with Wales Walking Football and helping the women’s game develop further.”
